About this fabric
Hessian (also known as jute or burlap) is a natural woven fabric that is durable and eco-friendly. It has a coarse texture and a rustic appearance, making it popular for a range of craft, home decor, and gardening projects.
This hessian is laminated on the reverse side which helps give the fabric more structure and makes it more sturdy/stiff. It's perfect for tote bags, table mats and anything else needing a waterproof lining to protect contents or surfaces.
Please note: The back of the hessian fabric is laminated with food quality polyethylene.
Manufacturer says: Warm hand wash. Hang to dry. We recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.
